Choosing to come in tight on the subject, I played around with various strokes and paint thicknesses to add depth and dimension. Splashes of gold and pops of fire-engine red add excitement and energy to the expansive aspen forest.

Peeling, knotted aspen trees stretch deeper and deeper into the woods, counting time as their foliage dances in the breeze creating an uptempo rhythm and filling the forest with its gorgeous symphony.
