Painting these wildflowers larger than life, I wanted you to be fully immersed in their beauty. Imagine an "Alice in Wonderland"-type experience where you step into a world of childlike wonder, curiosity and depth.
I built up so many layers in this set so that there is a richness in dimension, a harmonic flowing movement between earth and sky, and a bouquet of hidden surprises. May every time you gaze into these you see something new to spark your imagination. The texture on these literally leaps off the canvas, and I hope you feel that jubilance, wonderment and energy!
I am beyond ready for spring – North Carolina is beautiful but we had snow last week! I miss Texas wildflowers so much. After the winter doldrums, those bright blue beauties and perky Indian Paintbrush are the first signal that winter is finally ending. Carpets of cobalt, crimson and gold fill the fields with hope and color, lifting our spirits.

Land in Motion
The Good Art Company is proud to present Land in Motion, a dynamic new collection by celebrated landscape artist Niki Gulley, debuting during Fredericksburg’s First Friday Art Walk.
In this energetic series, Gulley captures the living rhythm of the natural world. Sweeping brushwork, vibrant color, and shifting skies convey the sensation of wind moving through grasses, clouds drifting across vast horizons, and the ever-changing atmosphere of the open landscape.

For a brand new challenge this spring, I registered for Paint Historic Waxahachie, a plein air painting competition hosted in the town of Waxahachie about an hour south of Dallas. Basically, over the course of a few weeks, our assignment was to complete paintings on location anywhere in the city limits. Filled with beautiful historic homes, I was attracted to the detailed craftsmanship and architecture. Each homeowner had taken great care in decorating their porches and yards to create a warm welcome, and I wanted to capture that beauty and pride in my paintings.
