Impressionist Water Lily Pastel by Texas Artist Niki Gulley

“Liquid Mirror"

pastel on paper 32” x 24” framed size

Framed as shown in burl wood with teal mats (this frame has a few flaws in the corners)

Sunlight reflects across deep blue water,

ribbons of gold glitter the pond’s surface;

a water lily lifts its face toward the sun and gently dances across the water.

Golden sunlight filters through the brambles and reeds,

a touch of cardinal red peeks through colorful foliage

while azure skies reflect in the water.
